Justin Chu and Evelyn Li (both 14 years old) had breakout seasons in 2024, coming 2nd and 3rd place respectively in the inaugural U15 Canadian Championship. Justin and Evelyn also came 3rd place in the GAO provincial championship.

Evelyn Li started her heater with an early summer AJGA 2nd place performance with a 4 under total. It`s events like these that allow the player to believe that anything is possible. This confidence carried Evelyn to a 3rd place finish in the GAO U15 Championship with scores of 75, 73. 3 weeks later Evelyn showed her poise again with scores of 66, 72, for a 2 under total only 2 shots off the leader at the U15 Inaugural Canadian Championships. Here`s looking to a 2025 with lots of great tournament results for Evelyn.

Justin Chu had many great tournament rounds leading up to the provincial championships, chalking up wins on the MJT tour to prepare him for the Ontario majors. Justin had impressive rounds of 69, 66 at the GAO U15 Championships placing him 3rd, 2 shots off the lead. The confidence gained in early summer events propelled Justin to a 2nd place finish at the U15 Canadian Championships with scores of 68-71, one shot behind 1st place. Looking forward to lots more sub 70 tournament scores in 2025. Great playing!
