15 year old Kelly Zhao had a very busy summer in 2021 travelling south to the U.S. to build her resume on the best tour in junior golf, the AJGA. Gord has always made it a high priority for his juniors looking to play NCAA golf to play on this tour for maximum exposure to college coaches. Kelly was ready to display her talents and in her first round of her first tournament shot a scorching 8 under 64. She narrowly missed the victory but finished runner-up. This event surely caught attention of many coaches for this young phenom. Filled with confidence and many years of tournament experience saw Kelly finish in the top 5 in her next four events to cap off a great season with a 73.3 scoring average.
